Habitat for Humanity "On The Border" is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing
organization. Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with
people in need to build and renovate decent, affordable housing.
The houses are then sold for no profit and with no interest
charged. Our goal is to provide families in need a "hand-up"
not a "hand-out".
Habitat for Humanity Canada
is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. Since
it's inception in 1976, Habitat has built more than 300,000 homes
around the world, providing over 1,000,000 people with safe,
decent and affordable housing.

To mobilize volunteers and community partners in building affordable housing and promoting homeownership as a means to breaking the cycle of poverty.
